She honed her craft at Elisava, Escola Superior de Disseny, where her final project earned her an excellent score and the prestigious Adi Fad Medal in 2002 (Foment de les Arts i el Disseny). Ariadna's creative journey led her to collaborate with renowned companies like Alcatel and Bormioli Rocco, where she contributed to various projects. Here, she has played a pivotal role in developing the brand's collections and collaborating with external designers. Her passion for textile materials and her curiosity for production techniques have enabled her to introduce innovative textures and master the application of color. Ariadna's involvement extends from the initial idea to the final production, working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans. Notably, she served on the Board of Directors of Adi Fad from 2008 to 2009.

Nani's vision sought to fuse traditional craftsmanship and techniques with contemporary design sensibilities. In 1993, she embarked on a daring move, relocating manufacturing facilities to northern India. This shift marked a distinct turn in design philosophy, incorporating craftsmanship and tradition as fundamental pillars of the brand's identity. Over the years, Nanimarquina has garnered numerous accolades, including the National Design Award and the Premi Cambra a la Gestió Empresarial (Chamber Award for Design Management) in 2005. Nani Marquina herself has received recognition, such as the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Award from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. Her accomplishments culminated in the 2007 FIDEM Award for Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year. Nani has played pivotal roles as Chairwoman of ADP (Professional Design Association) and Red (Reunión Empresas de Diseño). From 2014 to 2019, she served as the President of the FAD (Foment de les Arts i Disseny) in Barcelona. Recent years have seen Nani return to her creative roots. Leading the company's design team, she has contributed to the development of one of the most successful collections in nanimarquina's history: Tres.
